Welcome to Solar Cross Astrology. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of consultations, educational services, digital materials, and other offerings provided by Sarah France / Solar Cross Astrology (“Solar Cross Astrology,” “I,” “me,” or “my”).

By purchasing, booking, accessing, or participating in any service or offering provided by Solar Cross Astrology, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Services

Solar Cross Astrology provides astrology consultations, tarot readings, educational services, classes, workshops, digital content, and related spiritual and educational offerings.

The specific scope, duration, format, and price of each service are described on the applicable booking or purchase page.

Services may include, but are not limited to:

Natal astrology consultations
Transit and forecasting consultations
Solar Return and year-ahead consultations
Relationship and synastry consultations
Tarot readings
Private astrology education and tutoring
Classes, workshops, and other educational offerings
Digital educational materials

Offerings, availability, pricing, and service descriptions may be changed at any time. Changes will not alter the price of a service that has already been purchased unless otherwise agreed upon.

2. Astrology & Tarot Disclaimer

Astrology and tarot are interpretive, spiritual, and educational practices. Consultations are intended to provide reflection, perspective, education, and personal insight.

No particular result, prediction, event, or outcome is guaranteed.

Astrological and tarot interpretations inherently involve professional and intuitive judgment. You understand that interpretations represent my analysis of symbolic material and should not be understood as statements of objective certainty.

You remain solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and use of the information discussed during a consultation.

3. Not Professional Medical, Mental Health, Legal, or Financial Advice

Services provided by Solar Cross Astrology are not substitutes for medical care, mental-health treatment, psychotherapy, legal counsel, financial advice, or other licensed professional services.

I do not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure medical or psychological conditions through astrology, tarot, herbalism, or spiritual practice.

If a matter requires the expertise of a licensed professional, you are responsible for seeking appropriate professional assistance.

In an emergency, please contact the appropriate emergency services or qualified professional rather than relying upon an astrology or tarot consultation.

4. Herbalism

I am currently pursuing formal studies in herbalism. Unless a particular offering expressly states otherwise, Solar Cross Astrology does not currently provide individualized clinical herbal treatment or medical care.

Any discussion of herbs, historical herbal traditions, planetary correspondences, folk practices, alchemy, or related subjects through my educational content is provided for educational purposes and should not be interpreted as individualized medical advice.

5. Client Responsibility & Birth Information

Astrological consultations rely upon information provided by the client.

You are responsible for providing accurate birth information, including your birth date, birthplace, and, when required, your birth time.

Solar Cross Astrology is not responsible for inaccuracies in a consultation resulting from incorrect, incomplete, estimated, or otherwise inaccurate information supplied by the client.

If you are uncertain about your birth time, please contact me before booking a service that requires an accurate birth time.

I do not currently provide birth-time rectification unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. Booking & Required Information

Submitting payment alone may not complete the booking process.

Clients may be required to submit intake forms, birth information, questions, or other requested materials before an appointment can be prepared.

It is the client's responsibility to provide all required information by the deadline communicated during booking.

Failure to submit required information may result in the appointment being rescheduled or treated according to the applicable cancellation policy if there is insufficient time to prepare the consultation.

7. Preparation

Many Solar Cross Astrology consultations include substantial preparation before the scheduled appointment.

Preparation may begin several days before your session and can include chart calculation, chart analysis, transit research, timing analysis, tarot preparation, written notes, and other individualized research.

The purchase price therefore compensates Solar Cross Astrology not only for the time spent in the live consultation but also for the professional preparation and expertise required to provide the service.

8. Payment

Payment is due according to the terms displayed at checkout or on the applicable booking page.

Appointments are not reserved without successful payment unless another arrangement has been expressly agreed upon in writing.

All prices are listed in the currency displayed at checkout.

Clients are responsible for any applicable taxes, currency-conversion fees, bank fees, or other charges imposed by third parties in connection with their purchase.

9. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Because consultations require preparation and appointment availability is limited, adequate notice is required for cancellations and rescheduling.

The cancellation and rescheduling policy displayed during the booking process forms part of these Terms.

Where rescheduling is permitted, appointments may be moved subject to availability and any limitations stated at booking.

Repeated rescheduling may be declined.

Once individualized preparation for a consultation has begun, some or all of the service may be considered performed even if the live consultation has not yet occurred.

10. No-Shows

A client who does not attend a scheduled appointment and has not cancelled or rescheduled in accordance with the applicable policy may be considered a no-show.

No-show appointments are generally not refundable because appointment time has been reserved and individualized preparation may already have been completed.

A new appointment will require a new booking and payment.

11. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your scheduled consultation.

A 10-minute grace period will be allowed. After which point, you will be contacted to ask to reschedule.

12. Technology

Online consultations rely upon third-party technology and internet connectivity.

Clients are responsible for having a functional device, adequate internet connection, and access to the platform specified for the consultation.

If a significant technical problem occurs on my end and prevents the consultation from taking place, I will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the affected portion of the service.

Solar Cross Astrology is not responsible for technical problems originating from the client's equipment, connection, or environment.

13. Refunds

Because consultations involve reserved appointment time, advance preparation, and individualized professional services, purchases of consultations are generally non-refundable except where otherwise stated at checkout or required by applicable law.

If Solar Cross Astrology must cancel a consultation and a mutually acceptable alternative cannot be arranged, the client will receive an appropriate refund for the service that Solar Cross Astrology was unable to provide.

Digital products, classes, workshops, and other offerings may have separate refund policies disclosed at the time of purchase.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

14. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or have a concern regarding a purchase, please contact Solar Cross Astrology first so that I have an opportunity to review and address the issue.

Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback does not alter the records associated with the transaction, including booking confirmations, attendance records, communications, delivery of digital materials, or work performed in preparation for an individualized service.

Solar Cross Astrology reserves the right to provide relevant transaction and service records to payment processors or financial institutions when responding to a payment dispute.

Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in refusal of future services.

Nothing in this section restricts any lawful right you may have to dispute an unauthorized or genuinely incorrect transaction.

15. Session Recordings

Some consultations may be recorded for the client's personal reference.

Where Solar Cross Astrology provides a recording, that recording is intended solely for the personal, non-commercial use of the client unless written permission is granted otherwise.

You may not sell, publish, publicly distribute, reproduce, upload, broadcast, or commercially exploit a session recording without prior written permission.

Any recording by Solar Cross Astrology will be handled in accordance with applicable consent requirements.

16. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all original materials provided through Solar Cross Astrology remain the intellectual property of Sarah France / Solar Cross Astrology.

This includes, without limitation:

Course materials
Presentations and slides
Worksheets
Written interpretations
Educational documents
Videos
Audio recordings
Graphics
Class recordings
Exercises
Teaching frameworks
Website copy
Other original educational content

Purchasing a consultation, class, course, or digital product grants you a limited right to use the materials for your own personal educational purposes.

Purchase does not transfer copyright or grant permission to reproduce, distribute, teach from, resell, upload, publish, or commercially exploit these materials without prior written authorization.

17. Private Astrology Education

Private students remain responsible for their own study, practice, and application of the material taught.

Participation in private instruction does not constitute professional certification, licensure, or a guarantee of professional competency unless a particular program explicitly states otherwise.

Educational materials provided to students are subject to the intellectual-property provisions of these Terms.

18. Confidentiality & Privacy

I respect the personal nature of the information clients share during consultations and will make reasonable efforts to maintain the privacy of client communications and session information.

However, online communication and third-party platforms carry inherent privacy and security risks, and absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, respond to lawful process, or address fraud or payment disputes.

Any collection and processing of personal information through the website may also be governed by a separate Privacy Policy.

19. Testimonials & Client Experiences

Private client information will not be intentionally published as a testimonial without permission.

Where permission is granted to share a testimonial, identifying information may be withheld or modified at the client's request where reasonably possible.

Testimonials describe individual experiences and do not guarantee that another client will experience identical results.

20. Client Conduct

Solar Cross Astrology is committed to maintaining a respectful and professional environment.

I reserve the right to end or decline a consultation or professional relationship in circumstances involving harassment, threats, discriminatory abuse, sexual misconduct, repeated boundary violations, fraudulent activity, or other conduct that makes continuation of the professional relationship unreasonable or unsafe.

Where a service is terminated because of serious client misconduct, any refund will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the extent to which the purchased service has already been performed.

21. Right to Decline Services

I reserve the right to decline a booking or discontinue a professional relationship when a requested service falls outside my scope of practice, presents an ethical concern, requires expertise I do not possess, or otherwise cannot responsibly be provided.

Where appropriate, I may recommend that the client seek assistance from another astrologer or qualified professional.

22. Minors

Services are intended for adults unless otherwise expressly stated.

Consultations involving the chart of a minor may require the involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian.

I reserve the right to decline questions or interpretations that I believe would be inappropriate, excessively deterministic, invasive, or contrary to the wellbeing or privacy of a child.

23. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Solar Cross Astrology and Sarah France will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your interpretation, use, or reliance upon information provided through astrology, tarot, educational content, or related services.

You retain responsibility for your own choices and actions following a consultation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

24. Third-Party Services

Solar Cross Astrology may use third-party platforms for scheduling, video conferencing, payment processing, email communication, website hosting, or delivery of digital content.

Your use of those services may also be governed by the respective provider's terms and privacy practices.

Solar Cross Astrology is not responsible for the independent acts, policies, outages, or security practices of third-party providers beyond the extent required by applicable law.

25. Changes to Services, Prices & These Terms

Solar Cross Astrology may change service offerings, availability, policies, or prices at any time.

Price changes will not retroactively alter a completed purchase unless otherwise agreed.

These Terms may also be updated periodically. The version in effect at the time of a purchase or booking will generally govern that transaction, subject to applicable law.

26. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

27. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

28. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any service-specific terms, policies displayed during booking, and applicable Privacy Policy, constitute the agreement governing your purchase and use of Solar Cross Astrology services.

If a service-specific policy expressly conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific provision will govern with respect to that service.
