Just as we thought we were about to have a break from outer planet transits to Venus, this month brings us yet another. Today Venus in Taurus will be squaring Saturn in Aquarius. This aspect is likely to be felt over the next 2-3 days or so.
When Venus and Saturn come into contact through the square, the following is likely: A sense of general moodiness or depression. Insecurity or lack of confidence in one’s beauty and charm. A sense of restriction concerning desired money or possessions. Feeling as though you are not receiving the kind of love, appreciation, and acceptance that you truly desire. In counseling people who are born under this aspect natally, I’ve learned that this is one of the more painful planetary relationships, as Saturn restricts your ability to feel that which all humans desire most — true love for yourself.
It is important to remember that Venus represents what you attract to you based on what you feel to be true internally. During this time you can combat any negative effects of this transit by remembering to firmly root yourself in self-love. By giving in to insecurity and negative self-perception, your outside environment will begin to reflect those feelings of lack and unworthiness to you. Keep your chin up and remember to always be your own biggest fan.
